GLENDALE HEIGHTS - William H.
Lewis, 89, born March 26, 1927 was
one of seven children. William was
the loving husband of the late Alberta Lewis.
William was a devoted father of Bronwen
Griffith, Patricia Shultz, and William A. Lewis.
Loved by nine grandchildren and three
great-grandchildren.
William was a proud veteran of the Korean
War, a retiree of Ryerson Steel, and had many
contributions to his community. Bill was
intelligent, funny, humble, strong, loving,
giving and always kind. May he now and
forever rest peacefully with his bride, Alberta.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 14,
2016 from 4 to 8pm at Cypress Funeral
Home, 1698 N. Bloomingdale Road (between
Army Trail Road and North Ave.), Glendale
Heights, IL.
Funeral service will be held at Friday, April
15, at Cypress Funeral Home at 11am with
the interment at Chapel Hill Gardens West
Cemetery.
