I will never forget the joy Bill brought to everyone he was around, at family parties or just sitting on the back porch with my Dad, he made everyone happy.   He will forever be loved and genuinely missed.

I still haven’t accepted the fact that you are no longer here, although I do know you are watching over us all.

I am so amazingly grateful for all of the memories I have with you. Whether it was you teaching me to golf with my plastic golf clubs in the front yard, you and dad building my bed, going to eat at Bubba’s BBQ, pulling me on the tube or water skiis behind the pontoon, or countless others. 

You have been an amazing role model and I am so lucky to have spent as much time with you as I did. Thank you for all the memories, I will cherish each and every one, and I smile looking back on them all.

Well I am not sure how to start this ....  The time has come that now we only have memories of you.  Oh so many memories I have.  The long distance phone call asking if I could marry your daughter Misty.  The vacations in Eureka Springs and boating Beaver Lake with dinners at Bubba's BBQ, The remodel and build projects we undertook from a loft bed for Michael Jr to the complete kitchen redo for Misty.  We had lots of fun figuring things out.   I can still hear you asking me every time I saw you "were there any bank robberies or shoot outs at work today" when I would say "no" you would follow up with "well then what fun was it".  You were always a bright spot in everyone's day and will be missed by so many.  Keep your cordless tools charged as we will cross paths and build again!!

Grandpa Bill, we are going to miss your big smile and goofy spirit. No matter what we were doing, being around you was always so joyful. I remember many fun visits to Eureka Springs and boating on Beaver Lake. During the Illinois winters, we played countless Wii bowling and dance games. And I’ll never forget when you met my daughter for the first time and held her on your lap. I’m sorry my kids didn’t get to know you, but I’m grateful that I did. There is definitely a big hole in everyone’s hearts now that you are gone. Hopefully we can fill this with many happy and silly moments in the future and feel your presence smiling with us.  

Dad, just look at what came from the family that you created. Beautiful granddaughters, along with grandsons and all of the great grandchildren.  You were one of the greatest men that I have ever known, and I am proud to have had you for my dad. You had the best morals and character that could be had and  I believe you taught us all the same. This last year and a half has been the saddest in our lives with mom and Déni leaving us, and now you. I hope you are with them and watching over us. Our family of seven is now down to three, but you will always be with us in some way. I will always love you.  You will NEVER be forgotten and hope in some way that I will see you again.

Grandpa, 
My heart is broken knowing you are no longer here.  I’d be lying if I said I believe you are in a better place… when I believe the better place was here with us.  I really was not ready for the news of you passing and I am sad every moment I wake up knowing I won’t get to see, talk, or laugh with you again.  Though, I can say, my heart is at ease knowing you are surrounded by loved ones you’ve missed.  You were truly one of a kind Grandpa.  Life really will not be the same without you.  I love and will miss you always. 

I actually can’t pick a favorite memory of Uncle Bill, they were all great!!  I do however, love when he sang with dad-Up a Lazy River!  Of course no one can ever forget when he would sing Misty. The joy he brought everyone in his life will always be remembered.

I’m sitting here still in shock that you are gone, my heart is broke.  The thought that I won’t be seeing  your smiling face ever week is unbearably.  You were always so happy to see me, and you always would make me laugh with your funny sayings.  You have left me with so many happy memories. Your large loving heart is one that will never be replaced and will be missed forever. I hope your are sitting on a boat in beautiful sunshine with your Toby by your side.  I love you Dad and will miss you so so much, you are definitely one of a kind, the best kind!

I always enjoyed being around Bill. While attending numerous family functions, one couldn't help but notice how loved he was with the beautiful, attentive family presence. I recall a moment when his lovely daughter, Stacey, and I brought dinner for him. Knowing his love for ribs, we brought extra, so he could have some awesome leftovers. During dinner, Stacey  couldn't finish and sat back. Bill gave Stacey a quick look, asking her if she was finished. Stacey was nodding her head and before she could say anything, Bill had her plate, digging in. Stacey, with a shocked expression, sternly said, "Dad!! You already ate your full slab! You can't eat that!!" With ribs in hand and barbecue sauce everywhere, Bill simply replies, "Watch me". I couldn't help but start laughing. It was one of those "you had to be there moments", but it was priceless!! Bill sure did love to eat. Thank you for the memories Bill. I will miss you. God Bless!

  I miss your sense of humor, and you feed the dogs ice cream my gosh I never forget, and a good time in Arkansas I miss that tubing on Beaver Lake. You are my favorite grandpa. I’ll miss u buddy. I’m glad ur in peace with other relatives in spirit. Love your Grandson, Jacob(aka. Jake)

Dad was a loving, wonderful, caring, 
father. He always had a smile on his face and tried to make you laugh. He was a great dancer, singer, played the harmonica and the accordion back in the day. You were happy just to be around him.  He loved to be on the water. We enjoyed many days soaking up the sun  and we’re lucky to be able to enjoy time on his boat. I was so blessed to have him for a father. I will miss him so much. However I know he is in a better place and at peace now. I love you Pappy!
