Betsy Browne, 80, passed away on October 29, 2016 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on December 8, 1935 in Little Rock to C.R. Benson and Bess Henry Benson. Betsy grew up in Little Rock. She graduated from Little Rock High School. After high school she attended Hendrix College in Conway, where she received a Bachelor’s degree. Betsy married Walter E. Browne, Jr. in 1958 in Little Rock. They were happily married for 40 years. Betsy is survived by her son, Walter E. Browne, III, of Little Rock, her daughter, Kelly Browne, of Sacramento, California, her son-in-law, Timothy C. King, and her grandchildren, James Paul King and Ryan Clark King. A memorial service will be held at Grace Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at two o’clock p.m.
