

Billie Bain was ready to go home and she graduated peacefully with family and friends, March 1, 2015. Mrs. Bain was born in the small town of Shamrock in West Texas, May 11, 1926. She lived in Little Rock, Arkansas for a number of years where she married Lonnie Reuel Bain, raised a family, worked and attended Pulaski Heights Methodist Church where she and her husband were Youth Leaders in the 1960's. In 1990 they moved to Tucson, Arizona and in 2004 she moved to Boerne, Texas. Mrs. Billie Bain is survived by son, Jon L. Bain, daughter, Debbie Bain Redmon and husband Dennis and daughter in law, Krecia Bain. Grandchildren, Schuyler Shawn Bain and wife Tiffany, Russ Littleton, Chris Littleton and wife Kerri, Janelle Smith, Nicole Hill and husband Josh, Kyle Bain, Brandon Bain and Melissa Smith. Mrs. Bain was blessed with a plethora of great grandchildren, Alexandra Littleton, Parker and Jagger Littleton, Hannah, Ezekial and Eliana Smith, Jacob and Nathan Hill, Alexandria and Brandon G. Bain, Joshua and Joseph Bain. She is also survived by nieces, Donna Harrison, Jan Boggs and nephew, Max Slaughter and their spouses. Mom loved us all. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Reuel Bain, parents, William Moore Slaughter and Cora Belle Slaughter Lawhon, brother, M. R. Slaughter, sisters, Leona Slaughter Lee and Mary Slaughter Katzer. Sons, Jay Russell Bain, Schuyler Reed Bain and David Lynn Bain. Special thanks to those dear to her in Boerne who made her life easier. Juana Pinedo, her faithful helper and friend, Nora Madden, excellent stylist and friend, LaRae Shandry, mom's exemplery neighbor who loved, helped and looked in on her daily. All went above and beyond; thank you for the joy, smiles and assistance you gave our Mom. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 9, at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander. Arrangements are by Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth in Little Rock.
