He is pre-deceased by his parents, Boyce P. Wilkerson and Future Vick Wilkerson, and brother-in-law, Bruce Lindeman. He is survived by his sister, Patty Lindeman, sister-of-his-heart, Juanita Jordan, and scores of loving friends and co-workers.
A 1974 graduate of Hendrix College, he was an accomplished clarinet player and loved music. He served as past Worshipful Master of his Mason's Lodge and was active in Asbury Methodist Church. As a person to whom charity was a big part of his life, he served as Vice President of the Board of Hunger-Free Arkansas, Inc., and had a heart for the homeless.
He was a big man, but a lovable teddy bear, with a big heart. He never met a stranger. At the time of his death, he was employed by UAMS.
A service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 1:00p.m., at the Chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth, 5800 W 12th Street Little Rock, AR, 72204 followed by interment at Roselawn Cemetery, in Little Rock. He had the courage of a lion, with the heart of a lamb. No one whose life he had touched will ever forget him.
