Eva Willene Lawhon, 91, of Little Rock, passed from this life November 24, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 16, 1929 in Dublin, Arkansas the daughter of Samuel and Ida Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Bennie; a baby daughter; a son, Johnny; and a brother, Charles Johnson.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Ronnie Lawhon (Betty) of Redfield, Vernon Lawhon of Little Rock, Sue Ausburn (Bill) of Benton, Penny Duncan (Eddie) of Searcy, Bonnie Hooks (Tommy) of Little Rock, and Bennie Lawhon, Jr. of Redfield; 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Bonna Johnson and Janice Estes; and a host of extended family and friends.
A member of East End Assembly of God, she cherished her family with all her heart and soul. She always had a sweet smile, a twinkle in her eyes, was soft- spoken and always full of love. She was a kindhearted lady.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2020 in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th Street, Little Rock (501) 661-9111 with Pastor Bob Minick officiating. Interment will follow in Landmark Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Tuesday until service time at the funeral home. Due to the Covid-19 situation, face coverings must be worn and social distancing observed. Indoor events are limited to 50 in attendance.
