

Georgia Lynn Hickey, 62, passed away December 13, 2017, at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on March 14, 1955, also at St. Vincent's Hospital, the youngest daughter of the late George Edward and Elizabeth Belle ("Betsy") Hickey (nee Cannon).
In her youth, Georgia was a member of the Rainbow Girls of Arkansas Assembly #3. A graduate of Joe T. Robinson High School, class of 1973, Georgia was an avid Razorbacks and Cowboys fan. As a supporter of many worthy causes, especially animal rights, Georgia participated in numerous bicycling and other athletic charity fundraising events.
Georgia's human survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth L.R. ("Elsa") and "Avi" Helton, niece Stanzi L. R. Brewer, and great-nephew Damian Francis Sanchez, all of Dallas, TX, as well as many cousins and lifelong friends. She is also survived by four feline fur children, Santana, Fatso, Snoot, and Squeaky.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 17, from 2-4 PM at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home, at 5800 W. 12th Street in Little Rock. Memorial service will be Monday, December 18th, at 2 PM at First Christian Church, 5100 N. Mississippi, Little Rock, Arkansas. The family wishes to especially thank her caregiver and advocate Jane Ann Spikes for her compassionate care and lifelong love. Any who wish to make memorial donations in Georgia's name are welcome to support the efforts of St. Vincent's Hospital or those of any other worthy charity.
