Samuel Scott McMillan

Lord on June 4, 2020. Scotty grew up in the Landmark community of Little Rock. He graduated

from Wilbur D Mills high school.After graduating, Scotty went to work for Little Rock wastewater

and eventually retired after 36 years of service.Scotty was an avid outdoorsman who loved

fishing and hunting. He loved teaching his kids and grandkids about both of his favorite

pastimes. He spent the biggest majority of his time outdoors. He loved to have a garden and

being able to enjoy it with friends and family. Scotty always knew his most important job in life

was taking care of his wife and family.

Scotty met and married his wife Desiree (DJ) in 1977 and would’ve been married 43 years in

July.

Scotty and Desiree eventually moved to Royal, Arkansas where He could Crappie fish all he

wanted and hunt big bucks.

Scotty is survived by his wife, Desiree McMillan, of 42 years. Daughter and daughter in law Kara

and Tina McMillan of Bauxite, Ar.. His sons, Scott McMillan of Jefferson, Ar. and Brooks (Elissa)

McMillan of Lonsdale, Arkansas. He is also survived by his granddaughter Destiny McMillan of

Jefferson, Arkansas, and grandchildren Brodie and Brantley McMillan of Lonsdale, Arkansas.

Due to the pandemic there will be no service but any and all thoughts and prayers for the

healing of the family would be greatly appreciated.

There will be a celebration of his life sometime hopeful in the near future.
