

Wilma Jean Bridenbaugh, 89, of Little Rock passed away December 17, 2025. She was born March 23, 1936 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Edwin Ray and Nettie Mae (Smith) Bridenbaugh. In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her brothers, Edwin and Ray Bridenbaugh; and grandson, Matt Garner.
Wilma earned her master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) and devoted much of her professional life to service. She served as Director of Inservice at Doctors Hospital and later worked with the Department of Veterans Affairs as a Contract Specialist, where her professionalism and attention to detail were deeply valued.
Beyond her career, Wilma found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. She loved the mountains and treasured time spent watching her grandchildren grow, taking great pride in each of their lives and accomplishments.
Those left to cherish the memories of Wilma include her sons, Ed (Ginny) Garner, Mark (Anne Pattillo) Garner, and Peter (Rita) Garner; grandchildren, Jordan Garner, Blake Johnston, Shelby Zeno, Natalie Garner, Max Garner, Nadiya Mymrikova and Daniel Garner; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home. Visitation will be the evening prior, Monday, December 22, 2025, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
