Anthony Scotti

The son of the late Anthony and Mary Scotti, he was born on August 5, 1962, in the Bronx, New York. He grew up in Pelham Manor, New York, graduating from Pelham High School. He then went to work with his father as a butcher at Model Meat Market. He later started his own butcher shop in Sarasota, Florida.

Moving back to the northeast, Anthony opened Anthony’s Meats and Deli in Parsippany, New Jersey. A thriving business for ten years, he decided to retire and take a sabbatical to enjoy life. After a few years he realized that he needed more, in January 2017, Felice and Anthony decided to go into the wholesale business and started Royalty Meats and Poultry, a U.S. government inspected wholesale meat plant.

The last eight years they built this company from the ground up to a multi-million-dollar company, one of the premier and highly respected meat plants in New Jersey.

His precision with numbers was second to none which enabled him to have a driving advantage for the customers best interest. Anthony had a larger-than-life personality, flair for fashion, loved people, and cooking, Sunday afternoon singing in Italian, was his happy place. Anthony was a winner, especially at the blackjack table, he never seemed to lose. He was a devoted family man, a loyal friend, and always brought a smile to many with his goofy sense of humor.

Anthony leaves behind his loving wife, Felice, adoring daughter, Monica, sisters, Irene Lantz, Stephanie Mingalone, stepchildren, Zoey King, and Tyler Raff. He is also survived by nephews, Kendall Lantz, Jesse Mingalone and his grand-daughter, Addilyn King.

Memorial donations may be made in honor of Anthony with the American Heart Association.

A funeral service for Anthony will be held Sunday, December 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039. Following the funeral service will be an entombment at 1:00 PM at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1098 Woodbridge Center Dr, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07095.
