Charles B. Greene, 86, of Livingston, NJ passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018. Born and raised in Detroit, MI, he attended Wayne State University Undergraduate in Detroit, received his Master’s Degree at the University of Michigan, and then continued his education with a professional degree from Columbia University. He married his wife of 61 years, the late Lois Greene, in 1956 and they moved to Livingston in 1967. They also lived in Florham Park from 1986 to 2005, but moved back to Livingston and maintained a second home in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Charles was a 30 year Computer Science Executive for Exxon until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of SCORE (Service Corp. for Retired Executives), and belonged to the West Orange Tennis Club and the Ballen Isles Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens.
Beloved husband of the late Lois Greene, loving father of Bruce Greene and his wife Susan, Steve Greene and his wife Melanie Genkin, and Glenn Greene and his wife Ann Greene, devoted grandfather of Mark, Rachel and Jamie, cherished brother of Harriet Berlin and her husband William and Marilyn August.
