First Lt. Corey Ellen O'Connell, beloved wife of Andrew O'Connell, passed away on July 2. She was the daughter of the late Anne Reinfeld Fefferman. First Lt. O'Connell was born in El Paso, Texas, and spent the first few years of her life in Florida before returning to West Orange, N.J. She graduated from West Orange High School in 2002 and ROTC at the University of Tennessee in 2006. First Lt. O'Connell spent a year in Iraq with the U.S. Army, reaching the rank of first lieutenant. Surviving are her father, Harry, and stepmother, Diane Kozma; loving brother, Kevin and his wife, Suzanne, and her niece, Kaylee Anne of Ft. Sills, Okla.
