Mr. Markowitz owned and operated Clark Drugs & Surgical in Clark, NJ for 35 years. He was proud to have a business that could serve the community, and he was always available when needed.
He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle, who always put his family first. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Rachel; his children, Marci, Kim (David) and Eric (Jocelyn), and 2 granddaughters, Laura and Jessica.
The family will be receiving guests for David on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 10:30 AM to 10:45 AM at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, New Jersey 07039, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, 1098 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge Township, New Jersey 07095.
