Doris Radin, 84, of Livingston died January 19. Doris was a poet whose book There Are Talismans was published in 1991. Her poems appeared nationally in poetry journals, and she was a two-time recipient of the NJ Council of the Arts Fellowship Grant.
Born in Brooklyn, NY and a graduate of NYU, she moved to Glen Ridge in 1957 with her husband Al, where they raised three children.
Surviving are her two sons, Roy and Andy, her daughter Robin, and her grandchildren Katie, Eric, and Noah.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to PBS.
Services will be held 11 AM Sunday at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman 68 Old Short Hill Rd, Livingston, NJ.
