Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, he graduated from Boys High School and received his Bachelor’s degree at Brooklyn College. He remained in Brooklyn marrying and raising his family there until relocating to Coconut Creek Florida in 2000.
U.S. Army veteran in the late 1950’s, Edward was redeployed in 1962 during the Berlin wall crisis. He was owner of Blue Jay Management in Brooklyn, a firm in the Real Estate industry.
Edward is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Bell) Oshins; sons, Jason and his wife Alice; David and his wife Julie; and grandchildren, Jake, Rachel, Julie, Ari & Elizabeth. He is also survived by his sister, Rosalie Lieberman; sister-in-law Phyllis Jonas and nieces & nephews, Seth, Elissa & Barry.
Services were at Bernheim Apter Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel in Livingston followed by a burial in Beth David Cemetery, Elmont New York.
