Elliott Allen Schonberg, age 89, of South Orange Village, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. He was born on April 7th, 1936. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Leona Schonberg, his son Roy, daughter in-law Suzette and two grandchildren Joshua and Haley. He attended Stuyvesant High School and graduated from New York University at age 19 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He was loved by many and made the world a better place.
A funeral service for Elliott will be held Monday, April 14, 2025 at 11AM at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039. The family will be receiving friends from 10:15AM-10:45AM. The burial will follow at at B'Nai Jeshurun Cemetery, 1334 Carrington St, Elizabeth, NJ 07208. After the burial, family and friends are invited back to Nero's Grille, 618 S Livingston Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039 at 1:30PM for lunch.
