Born in The Bronx, New York where he lived until attending Columbia University School of Pharmacy. He met his wife Marilyn Reiss during his time there and got married in 1963. They moved to Massapequa Park on Long Island where he began a career in pharmaceutical sales for Ciba-Geigy where he worked for 30 years until his retirement.
Jerry was an avid sports fan and especially loved horse racing and attending NY Islanders game with his 3 sons.
He and his wife Marilyn eventually moved to Florham Park, NJ.
Jerry is survived by his wife Marilyn. He is also survived by his sons Dr. Lawrence (Sherry) of Stamford, CT, Jeffrey of New York City, and Dr. Michael (Laura) of Livingston, NJ.
He is survived by 5 grandchildren: Justin, Noah, Lindsey, Brooke, and Samson Levine.
A funeral service for Jerry will be held Sunday, February 9, 2025 at 11AM at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039. The family will be receiving friends from 10:15AM to 10:45AM. The burial will follow at Beth Moses Cemetery, 1500 Wellwood Ave, West Babylon, NY 11704.
