Born in Brooklyn, NY, Hazel lived with her husband Bob in Livingston for over 50 years before moving to Voorhees six years ago. A graduate of Ithaca College, she was a special education teacher in Livingston in the elementary and high schools.
Hazel was the beloved wife of Bob for 59 years, loving mother of Gregg (Lisa) and Jesse (Gayle), devoted grandmother of Jacob, Olivia, Brielle, Sara, and Ashley, cherished sister of Margie.
The family will be receiving guests for Hazel on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, New Jersey 07039, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Burial to follow at King Solomon Cemetery, Clifton, NJ.
