Jane Poznak

Jane Poznak passed away peacefully on March 14th, 2025, at the age of 90, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories.

Born on August 5th, 1934, Jane was the proud mother of four children: Marc, Steven, David, and Nancy, and her numerous grandchildren and great grand-children. Jane was always thrilled to share funny stories of her children's antics and her face lit up when she was with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her family will carry forward her legacy of love, integrity and warmth.

Jane had a lifelong love of reading, often immersing herself in books that transported her to new adventures. She also had a passion for New York City’s vibrant culture, especially Broadway shows, which brought her immense joy. Jane enjoyed playing games—whether cards, golf, or tennis—and was always up for a challenge, finding happiness in the company of family and friends.

A dedicated volunteer at Stepping Stones for ten years, Jane’s compassion and commitment to helping children with disabilities touched many lives. She was an extraordinary woman whose kindness, generosity, and sense of humor left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Jane will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, extended family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

A graveside service will be held at B’nai Abraham Memorial Park on Sunday, March 16th at 11:30am. Shiva will immediately follow at the Crown View, 10 Smith Manor Blvd, West Orange from 1pm - 8pm.
