Judith B. Feinberg (nee Weinberger), daughter of Emmanuel and Rose Weinberger, passed away after fighting fearlessly with the disease that lived in her since 1993. She fought it every day and, only until recently, did it finally get the better of her. Judy is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jamie and by her son, Jeffrey and daughter Jill Lesnik and son in law Mark as well as by her grandchildren, Jack, Josh, Jesse, Jordana and Max, all the light of her eyes and heart.
Judy was a warrior and a fierce competitor in golf, tennis, bridge and canasta as all of her many and wonderful friends will attest. One of her friends said she probably was born giving orders and remembers everything and knows everyone. Her spirit, determination, quick wit, biting retorts and infectious laugh on occasion will be sorely missed.
Judy was born in the Bronx NY and moved to Jersey City, NJ when she was 2. She went through the Jersey City public school system, graduated from Snyder High School and went to the University of Miami and after 2 years at Miami she transferred to NYU, where she met her future husband and graduated from the School of Education. She got her first teaching job at Snyder High School. After 1 year at Snyder her family started with the birth of her son then her daughter 25 months later.
Judy was active in the local Daughters of Isreal home serving on its board for many years and as co-chair of the woman's organization. She was also active in the many country clubs that the family had joined over the past 40 years and becoming club champion at 2 of them.
She will be missed by all who knew her. A private graveside service for her family will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026.
