Mary Grace DeLorenzo

Born and raised in Newark, Mary attended Sacred Heart Grammar School and St. Michael’s High School. She lived in East Orange before moving to Livingston in 1965.

She was a dedicated communicant of St. Raphael’s Church, Livingston, and a member of the Altar Rosary Society for many years. Mary devoted her life to her family and her church. She was a phenomenal cook and baker, and she made sure that the door to her house was open to all and that it was always a home filled with love, laughter and delicious Italian food. She and her late husband Jerry devoted their later years to their beloved grandchildren.

Mary was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Jerry and her parents Michael and Ida (nee Rosania) Tronolone.

Mary was the loving mother of Michael DeLorenzo and his wife Rosemarie, Jennifer Rullis and her husband Ralph, and Lisa Nisivoccia and her husband Rocco, and cherished grandmother of Michael, Leah, Daniel (Caleigh), James, and Mia. Mary is also survived by her dear cousin, Mina Yanuzzi, and her loving caregiver, Ada, to whom we will be forever grateful. She also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14 from 4-8 PM at the LaMonica Memorial Home, Livingston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, February 15, at 9:30 AM at St. Raphael’s Church, Livingston, with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
