Michael Herman Cohen, age 70 died on Friday, October 25th, 2024, at his home in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. Michael was born on July 7, 1954, in Kibutts Beit Hashita, Israel. He is survived by his wife Ruth, his son Offer, daughter-in-law Jacqueline, grandchildren Chase, Gia, and Jaxson, and sisters, Hanna Uri and Elisheva Redler.
Michael moved to the United States in 1982 and lived in Fair Lawn from 1989 until his passing. He dedicated his life to being the best father that he could be to his son Offer. When his grandchildren were born, Michael was just as dedicated to his grandchildren doing everything in his power to provide wonderful childhood memories. Michael was also a devoted friend as his friends often stated, “There was friendship and then there was Micha’s friendship.”
He was a man of many talents which lead him down numerous paths throughout his career. However, the job he was most proud of was that of a personal fitness trainer. Michael practiced what he preached as he was dedicated to being active. Fitness was a crucial component of his life until his passing.
Michael will be greatly missed by his family and friends but never forgotten.
