Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Phyllis Klinghoffer (nee Herberg), 86 of West Orange New Jersey died on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at St. Barnabas Hospital. Funeral services are on Friday, June 24 at 11:30 am at the Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ, with internment in B’nai Abraham Memorial Park.
Born in Newark, Mrs. Klinghoffer lived in South Orange before moving to West Orange in 1985. The beloved wife of 60 years to the late Melvin Klinghoffer. Phyllis was the devoted mother of Steven and Lori Klinghoffer and Sari Klinghoffer, the cherished grandmother of Lisa and Felix Buber, Rachel Klinghoffer Marcus and Noah Marcus, Matthew Hassanein and Alana Hassanein, and the adored great grandmother of Theo, Marlo and Rae Buber.
