
Rochelle Jacobs, 84, passed away peacefully at Morristown Memorial Medical Center on September 16, 2020 with loving family by her side. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who dedicated her life to the well-being of her treasured family and friends.
Born on March 16, 1936 to Edith and Morris Goldman in Newark NJ, she was a proud graduate of Weequahic High School. She always cherished her high school memories, including lifelong friendships and being a Majorette in the marching band.
Rochelle raised her family in Hillside and Livingston, NJ where she was a member of Temple Beth Shalom and Hadassah. After retiring from KPMG as a tax department receptionist, she made Greenbriar at Whittingham in Monroe Township NJ her home for many years before finally moving to Hunters Run in Boynton Beach Florida.
Rochelle is predeceased by her parents, her brother Philip Goldman, her husband Albert Jacobs and her companion for the last twelve years, Herbert Cohen.
She is survived by her children, Lisa & Robert Judavits, Eric & Carol Kaplan, Dana & Alan Sobel, and Neil & Debbie Kaplan. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, Zachary, Todd, Emily (Brian), Sarah, Rebecca, Alexander (Alicia), Hannah (Jeff), Elizabeth, Gracie, Julia, and Lily as well as her recently born great grandchildren, Sofia and Penelope who she got to spend time with before her death.
