Rosalyn Weitzner

Born on February 6, 1936, in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of Ben and Anne Steck and was raised in Union, NJ. Rosalyn graduated summa cum laude from Union High School in 1953 and later attended secretarial school. She went on to work as a bookkeeper for many years.

Rosalyn was married to William Weitzner for nearly 30 years. She was a devoted mother to Linda Waddington, a beloved sister to Alfred Steck, and a much-loved grandmother to Tyler and Danielle Waddington.

She especially cherished the years she spent living in Bridgewater with her daughter and her family- time that brought her great joy and closeness with her family and especially her grandchildren.

Rosalyn will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family and all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to attend the services at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, located at 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, New Jersey, 07039. The family will receive guests on January 30, 2026, from 10:15 am to 10:45 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am.

The burial will take place at Pine Brook Jewish Cemetery, 77 Windsor Drive, Montville, New Jersey, 07058, on January 30, 2026, at 12:30 pm.
