Stanley B. Amsterdam, 93 of West Orange, passed quietly on Saturday, September 16th, 2023. Son of Jule and Florence Amsterdam, brother of Albert Amsterdam and Shirley Notkin. Stan resided in West Orange, NJ all his married life with Judie, his loving wife of over 71 years
Stan was a graduate of Columbia High School and Seton Hall University.
Stan is predeceased by his son Paul, survived by his loving wife Judie of 71 years, his two daughters Wendy and Leslie, his grandchildren AJ, Megan, Jesse, Hannah, and his devoted caregiver Nana Asare. Stan Amsterdam was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and uncle.
He served in the U.S. Army at Walter Reed Hospital, then continued in the family surgical supply business, Amsterdam Bros.
Enjoyed a long career in product development, merchandizing, and sales in the New York garment center.
