Toby Fae Rosen, 85, died on May 14, 2026. A longtime resident of Florham Park, New Jersey, she was born on February 4, 1941, and was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. Over the years, she also lived in Livingston and Short Hills as well as in California, Illinois, and Michigan, before moving to Florham Park 25 years ago.
Toby earned her BS from Purdue University, Indiana, specializing in pharmaceutical science—an achievement that spoke to her disciplined mind and respect for careful, meaningful work. In later years, that same sense of purpose could be seen in the ways she continued to show up for others, offering her time and energy with consistency and grace. For the past three years, where she lived at The Delaney on the Green, she served as Head of the Holiday Fundraisers.
She was the beloved wife of the late Melvin Rosen, and a loving mother to Lisa Rosen and Stacy Saul (Steve). She was a devoted grandmother to Abby (fiancé Harsha) and Derek (Lindsey), taking deep pride in the lives and futures of those she loved. She was also a cherished sister to Allen Marmalad (Judy), Gail Day (Lowery), and the late Honora Nichols (Lynn).
