

Agnes was the embodiment of warmth, kindness, and grace. Her infectious laughter, culinary talents, striking beauty, and deep empathy attracted countless people to her over the years. No one in her presence was ever a stranger for long; Agnes had a remarkable gift for weaving lasting and meaningful relationships with everyone she encountered. Her home was a place where all felt welcome, cherished, and loved.
Throughout her life, Agnes built a wide network of friends and family from all walks of life, and it is in this very network that her legacy continues. She leaves behind a group of individuals who share an enduring respect and admiration for the woman she was — generous, selfless, and genuinely kind-hearted. Her influence remains woven through the lives of those she touched.
Agnes is survived by her devoted husband, Chuck Hersey, as well as her children Matthew Hersey, Erin Hersey, Angela Roelofs, and Chris Roelofs as well as her grandchildren Cameron, Giavanna, Hope, and Ryan. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at Harry J. Will Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 3:00 pm until 7:30 pm, where all who knew her are invited to honor her memory and share in the warmth and love that Agnes so freely gave. At 6:30 pm, a tribute video presentation will take place, followed by an opportunity for those desiring to share memories.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on March 6, 2025, at Our Lady of Victory Church at 10:30 a.m.
Per Agnes’ specific request please no flowers, in lieu of that, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the American Red Cross Blood Services in Agnes's honor. Donations may be made at redcrossblood.org.
