Beloved wife of over 45 years to the late Roy C. Stevens. Loving mother of Deborah Stevens, Cynthia (Richard) Sturtz, Diane Stevens, Linda (Kevin) Green, and Margaret Stevens. Treasured grandmother of Heather (Christopher) Trammell, Kristina (Patrick) Harrison, Lance (Courtney) Stevens, Kaj-Erik (Melanie) Green, and Shane Green. Cherished Gigi of Charlie Trammell, Gemma Harrison, Sophia Harrison, Aria Harrison, Wesley Stevens, and Quinn Stevens. Dear sister of Herbert Longeway.
In addition to Roy, Aileen is preceded in death and lovingly reunited in heaven with her parents, Hector and Florence Longeway; her son, Richard Stevens; her siblings: Kenneth Longeway, Joan (James) Rollins, Carol Longeway, and Patricia Longeway; and her sister-in-law, Mary Lou Longeway.
Aileen was a proud and passionate sports fan. She never missed a game if she could help it—cheering on her favorite Michigan teams like U of M, MSU, the Tigers, Lions, and Red Wings. With children and grandchildren attending rival schools, she made it a point to support them all, always making sure everyone felt seen and included. She enjoyed playing bingo and visiting the casino, always up for a little fun and friendly competition. Anyone up for a game of LCR? She always was. She also enjoyed latch-hooking, and the projects she made will be held tightly in her memory.
But above all, Aileen cherished her family. She was a constant, loving presence at every sporting event, dance recital, family holiday, and celebration. She created a home that was warm, welcoming, and filled with laughter. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy, and her face lit up anytime she talked about them. She made sure each of them knew how deeply they were loved. Her strength, generosity, and kindness will live on through the many lives she touched.

Aileen will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Should you ever get the chance to try plum pudding, just know she would want you to take a bite.
