It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alexander Michael Judge, on October 16, 2024, after a lifelong journey with Huntington's disease. Born on February 6, 2001, Alex was a cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend, and was surrounded by his loving family in his final moments.
Alex was the beloved son of Ann and (the late) Bryan Judge and the loving brother of Abigail Judge. He brought immense joy to his grandparents, Nancy and Mike Judge, and Michael and (the late) Judy Wagner. He will be deeply missed by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins, all of whom cherished his gentle spirit and infectious smile.
A voracious reader, Alex had an insatiable curiosity and an adventurous spirit. He loved immersing himself in any book he could get his hands on. His passions included music, the epic tales of Star Wars, and building intricate creations with Legos. A profound love for marine life, especially sharks and dolphins, inspired him to dream of becoming a marine biologist.
Above all, Alex treasured the moments spent with his family, whether sharing laughter, enjoying a sweet treat—especially his favorite Junior Mints—or simply being together. His kind heart and warm personality touched everyone he met.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Alex's life will be held at Harry J. Will Funeral Home on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 1 PM until the time of service at 4 PM. In honor of Alex, the family invites attendees to wear his favorite color, green.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Hospice of Michigan Jo Elyn Nyman Anchors Program for Children, an organization that provided care and comfort during Alex's journey.
