She was the loving wife of Francisco Z. Villarruel for 60 years. The proud mother of Paul (Lori) Villarruel, Toni Villarruel (Chris Reno), Ben (Clare) Villarruel, and Francisco A. (Lori) Villarruel. The cherished grandmother of Staci, Amalia, Katee (Joshua Moore), Carmen and Olivia. The caring great grandmother of Emily and Jenna. And the beloved sister of Del Acevedo.
A Funeral Mass for Amalia will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 10:30am at St. Gerald Catholic Church, 21300 Farmington Road, in Farmington.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to the Amalia and Francisco Z. Villarruel Fund in support of first-generation nursing students at the University of Pennsylvania.
