Anthony John Kolodziejczak Jr., born October 13, 1942, in Northville, Michigan to Anthony and Dorothy (Jayska) Kolodziejczak, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family.
Anthony was the embodiment of love, compassion, humility, and selflessness. A man with a heart as big as his presence, he lived a life rooted in caring for others. He was the beloved husband of the late Sharon Ann Kolodziejczak, his high school sweetheart and the love of his life. Theirs was a lifelong love story —
Anthony adored Sharon, treating her with unwavering devotion, and in her later years, lovingly became her primary caregiver.
He was a welcoming man who made friends easily and left lasting impressions. As the eldest sibling, Anthony was the steady and loving patriarch of the Kolodziejczak family. His brothers and sisters looked up to him — not just because he was the eldest, but because of his strength, warmth, and guidance.
Family was everything to Anthony. He was a proud and protective father and a devoted Papa. He was always there — steady, supportive, and involved. He cherished time spent with his family, especially trips up north, scenic drives, camping, fishing, and visiting the casino for a little fun.
Anthony retired from General Motors after 43 years of dedicated service and later enjoyed working alongside his brother at EPI as a truck driver — a job that brought him both pride and purpose.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Kim (Dallas) Amidon and Dawn Kolodziejczak; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; five siblings; and many beloved nieces and nephews. He is reunited in peace with his parents, his wife Sharon, his daughter Deborah Ann Morgan , grandsons James and Jesse Robinson, and his brother Tom Kolodziejczak.
Anthony’s legacy of love, kindness, and dedication lives on in all who were lucky enough to know him.
Donations in his memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
