

Antoine was the beloved husband of over 38 years to Randa Kandalaft and a devoted father to Gania Kandalaft and Simon (Jessica) Kandalaft. He was a proud and loving grandpa to Antoine, Niko, and Amira Kandalaft. He is also survived by his dear sisters, Antoinette Barash, Ghada Barash, Ghania Backit, and Hanan Vanfleetren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samaan and Georgette Kandalaft, and by his siblings, Nohad Kandalaft and Siham Saker.
Antoine was a faithful member of St. Mary Church and found comfort in his faith throughout his life. Above all else, his family meant everything to him. His grandchildren were truly the center of his world, and he treasured every moment spent with them. Antoine enjoyed seeing his grandchildren daily and often asked to see them. Whether sharing laughter, watching them grow, or simply being together, they brought endless joy and pride to his life.
Funeral Visitation will take place at Harry J. Will Funeral Homes, 37000 W. Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152, on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, followed by the Trisagion at 6:00 pm and Memory Sharing at 6:30 pm.
Funeral In State will be held at Basilica of St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 18100 Merriman Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152, on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Basilica of St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church earmarked for Lebanese Relief, helping support children in need in Lebanon and Syria.
Antoine will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
