Dear Bobbie and Gary,
All our love and prayers are with you. I have so many wonderful memories of Mary Lou and Archie going back to their visits to Massachusetts and ours to Michigan. They both had humor, grace and courage and compassion in abundance. I believe there is a grand Shifflet reunion in Heaven now.

Your dad took the grace of his life with the control of a master. Seeing your devotion and caring for his needs. Making the time to be presence for him is a sign of how much he was there for you and your family. As with most couples your mom and dad could not be apart for too long and within the year they merged to that higher love plane.  May they both rest in the peace of the other side.  As you return to the pace of your own life with the physical presents* of your parents no longer - you and your sister should keep the best recall of their lives as a blessed memory.

The love that your family has shown to each other and others will always be remembered.  I pray that you will find comfort in knowing how many lives you all have touched.  May you also find comfort in knowing that your parents are at peace and with each other.  Love you both!

Barb, You have been the example of a daughter that any parent would love to claim.  Your whole life has been devoted to taking care of both your parents for the past year and you have made many sacrifices in order to accomplish that.  I hope you can find peace in the fact that your Dad is right where he wants to be- together, again, with your Mother.  I know how much you miss them both.

Bobbie and Gary,I am so sorry,this has been a devastating year for you and my heart goes out to you both.I hope you find some peace in knowing that your Mom and Dad are together again,walking side by side,smiling, holding hands and watching down over the two of you and your families!! Mort and Mr.S will always hold a special place in my heart and I know will be greatly missed by everyone that was lucky enough to know them.May you Rest In Peace dear sweet Mr.S......

My condolences on the loss of your dear father.  I know this has been a tough year for all of you.  I have very fond memories of your dad.  He was so kind and gentle and I know how much he loved your mother.  They were a special pair.  I'm sure you are comforted by the thought that they are now together again just as he longed to be.  I wish I could be there with you to give you both a hug.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
