Beverly Ann Yates

Beverly Ann Yates was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 14, 1944 to her parents, John and Agnes Sugnet. Beverly peacefully passed away at age 77 on April 25, 2022. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry of 56 years and sister, Marjorie Polley.

Beloved mother of Michael Yates, Brenda (Mike) Barone, and Loren (Nicole) Yates. Cherished grandmother of Justin Yates, Matthew (Gabby) Yates, Megan Yates, Emma Barone, Owen Boekhout, Ava Boekhout and Alivia Yates. Proud great-grandmother of Brooklyn Yates.

Beverly met the love of her life, Larry while working at Montgomery Ward department store, they married on September 14, 1963 and together raised three children. She enjoyed reading romance novels and gardening, spending quality time with her grandchildren and playing cards. She was a “snow-bird” and traveled to Florida every year to escape the Michigan winters. Beverly met many dear friends along the way and enjoyed getting together with her Michigan and Florida ladies group to play pinochle.

Beverly will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation, Saturday April 30, 2022 from 3:30PM until time of service at 6:00PM at Harry J. Will Funeral Home-Livonia. A dinner buffet will immediately follow in the funeral home’s reception room.
