Brian was preceded in death by father Gregory Mellon and sister Stephanie Mellon-Reppen. Brian is survived by mother Liana, sister Chelsey (Andrew), and nieces Abbey.

Brian was born to Liana (David) and Gregory Mellon on December 19, 1974 in Detroit, MI. Brian was very talented in sports and extremely smart. Brian was known to make friends everywhere he went with his kind nature and great sense of humor. Brian had a very strong faith that likely contributed to his resilience in the face of challenges experienced throughout life. He maintained a positive attitude and a generous spirit toward others that will never be forgotten.

A Memorial Service will take place at 6:00 pm on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan 48152. Brian's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 pm until the time of the service at 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may consider contributions in Brian's memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at www.nationalmssociety.org.
