She was the greatest person, the finest mother in law a girl could have had. My heart is broken from her loss but I will forever remember that awesome smile she wore so well.

I'm heartbroken over Aunt Carol.Such a FunFilled beautiful lady. I married into the family 23 years ago and was instantly drawn to her, we were good family and great fb friends. I will miss our texts and seeing her Wonderful Smile.I am so sorry for her family and loss of an awsome mom..lots of love and special prayers.

What a cool teacher, she had flowing hair and really cool clothes and was gifted in teaching her students the love of art.

I remember her clearer than any teacher I have had. She had a wonderful gift as an artist and as a beautiful human being. For anyone who has had the pleasure of knowing her, you know what I mean. She inspired so many people though the years. Rest on peace.

I was very fortunate to have had Ms. Bourassa as my art teacher at Annapolis HS.  She was always so encouraging to all of her students and she was by far one of my favorite teachers!  She was fun and funky and I will always remember listening to the great music in her classroom as we completed our masterpieces!  I have made reference to her many times over the years and credit my love of art to her and am so thankful for all that she taught me!  My sincerest condolences to her family and friends.

I was so lucky to have grown up with both Bob and Carol as neighbors but they were more than neighbors to me. Bob and Carol stepped in as grandparents for my sister, Jordan, and I, when ours passed. Carol was always a free spirit, a good friend to talk to, an animal lover, and most of all, one of the most caring individuals I have ever come to know and love. She will forever remain in my heart. Missing you tons Gma Carol.

I still have a couple of the pieces I did for Mrs. Walkiewicz. Still remember her walking by, looking at what I drew, and saying "that's so cool!" Always felt encouraged by her and will always remember her saying "dirty water makes dirty colors!" Sending thoughts and prayers to her family.  Annapolis, class of '94.

I was bless to have Ms. Bourassa as my art teacher for 4 years in the 70,s. Its because of this beautiful woman that I love anything artsie. I had thought of her not to long ago and wonder how she was. She was a true hippie and she loved life. May God bless her family. And to know she will truly be missed. Love Pam class of 74

What a great privilege to have had her as an Art teacher in high school.  She was a great instructor and made us feel proud of the masterpiece's we created. I saved a few of them and still have them to this day.  Teaching can be a thankless job, so thank you Mrs. Walkiewicz for being one of the great ones!!

I was late coming to know Carol and Bob through my wife, Charlotte Rogers-Sly, when we were married in 2009.  Bob was my wife's cousin/godfather and both he and Carol readily welcomed me to the family.  Having the privilege of knowing Carol definitely makes my top ten list of the best things to happen in my life.  My thoughts and prayers go to Carol's family and friends.  Thanks for that smile, good conversation and good memories Carol.

It takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, and a day to love them, but it takes an entire lifetime to forget them.. words cannot express the feeling of our loss. You will be missed my friend.
