Carol Floyd

Carol is the loving daughter of Mildred Floyd and the late William Russel Floyd. Born in Detroit on January 26, 1948. Carol passed away after a short illness with cancer on February 6, 2012 peacefully with all her family surrounding her with love. Carol is one of God's true angels on Earth. She is a gentle soul with a heart of gold who enriched the lives of family and friends and all who were lucky to share her life. Carol's happiness was especially visible when she was sharing in exciting events and experiences with her granddaughters, nieces and nephews. Her sense of humor will keep the cherished memories alive in our hearts forever. Carol leaves behind her wonderful mother Mildred, late father William Russel, her cherished sons, the light of her life Patrick, Bobby and Michael Dail. Also her sister Gail Steen, Sandy (Dan), Theresa (Allan) and her brother Bill Floyd, Jr.. She also leaves behind the love of her life, the father of her children Bobby Dail.

Friends may visit her family during a memorial gathering in her honor on Sunday February 12, 2012 from 3 pm to 8 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 W. Six Mile in Livonia. A Memorial Mass will be at St. Colette Catholic Church, 17600 Newburgh, Livonia on Monday at 10 am.

Memorials may be made in her honor to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
