Chester Davis

Davis Chester Age 95, July 8, 2011, of Northville, Michigan. WWII veteran and retired Lieutenant (and Acting Chief) of the Hamtramck Police Department. Chet was known as the man whom one could tell anything, and the man who could fix everything. He served as the President of the St. Kenneth Parish Seniors' Club, and enjoyed a successful post-retirement career as a realtor, earning membership in the "Million Dollar Club" with Century 21. Chet is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Helen, his son, Gerald (Julia) Davis, his five grandchildren: Linda (Steve) Friedland, Nancy (Matthew) McAllister, Karen Strasser, Mark (Richelle) Hubbuch and Shari (William) Galvin, and his 12 great-grandchildren: Joseph, Aaron, Ryan, Sean, Abbie, Kate, Brittany, Brian, Daniel, Sarah, Corinna, and Daulton. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 12th, from 5-9pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, at 37000 West Six Mile Road (Between Newburgh and Levan), Livonia, MI 48152; Funeral Mass at 11:30 am Wednesday, July 13th, at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 North Haggerty Road, Plymouth, Michigan, 48170, with a prior visitation beginning at 10:30 am.
