Christine M. McLellan

Christine was the beloved wife of Donald for 64 years. Loving mother of Laura Shankster and Kathy (Jonathan) Oltman. Proud grandmother of Matthew (Caitlin) Shankster, Steven Shankster, Evan Oltman, and Emily Oltman. Cherished great-grandmother of Caiden and Sebastian Shankster. Dear sister of Robert (Diane) Whiton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will be especially missed by her fur baby, Snickers.

Christine was preceded in passing by her daughter Linda McLellan and sister Jane Yarmak.

Christine loved dancing, specifically line dancing at her local event centers. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, painting, and tending to her garden. Above all, she took pride in caring for her family. A wonderful wife and mother, affectionately referred to as “Groggs” by her grandchildren, who will be deeply missed as their Matriarch.

A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, March 2, from 4:00-8:00pm at Harry J Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, Michigan 48152, with a rosary service at 7:00pm. An in state will be held Monday, March 3, from 10:30-11:00am at St Edith Catholic Church, 15089 Newburgh Rd, Livonia, MI 48154, followed by a memorial mass beginning at 11:00am.
