Don distinguished himself as an Electrical Engineer, showcasing his brilliance as the chief designer for electronic monitoring technology. His contributions to the electronic monitoring industry were groundbreaking, earning him the admiration and respect of his colleagues. Many have hailed him as a legend in the field, recognizing his invaluable impact on the technology that shapes modern electronic monitoring systems.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Don enjoyed skiing the slopes of California, Michigan, and Colorado, tropical vacations, trips to the casino, and watching Tigers and Redwings games.

He is survived by his partner Carol, children Melissa and Steven, three grandchildren - Kelley (Clayton) Roush, Alexandra (Stuart) Johnson, and Anthony Melton - and one great-grandchild, Elowen Marie Johnson. He is also survived by his sister, Sherry (Rod) Marsh, and a host of relatives and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
