Donald R. Schaffer passed away November 13, 2017 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Joyce. Loving father of Paul (Lucy) Schaffer and Daniel Schaffer. Dear grandfather of Kevin, Nicole, Bryan, and Kelly. Cherished brother of Anne (Wendell) Hamlin and the late Joseph (Sherry) Schaffer. Donald graduated from Henry Ford Trade School in 1952. He worked as a designer at Ford Motor Company for 38 years. He enjoyed traveling, spending time at the cottage up north, golfing, and dancing.
Visitation Thursday, November 16 from 2-8pm, with a Rosary at 7pm, at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile Rd in Livonia. Funeral Mass Friday, November 17 at 9:30am (in state at 9am) at St. Aidan Catholic Church 17500 Farmington Rd in Livonia.
