

Loving father of Linda (Michael) Joss, Rossana (Glenn) White, Loretta (Byron) Archer, and Danny (Claudine) Veri. Beloved Grandfather of Ryan (Felisha) Joss, Christina Joss, Catherine (Jonathan Meek) Joss, Tyler (Jill) White, Connor White, Blake (Kennedie) Veri, Savannah Veri, Jake Veri, Vanessa Veri, Christian Gage, Joshua Gage, and Brennen Archer. Proud great-grandfather of Walker Joss, Zoe White, and Baby Veri. Additionally survived by his brother Guerino Veri. Donato is preceded in death by his beloved wife Lidia Veri, and parents Melania Della Fazia and Antonio Veri.
Donato lived a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Donato's dedication to his bricklaying was evident in the countless buildings he helped construct throughout his career. His skilled hands and attention to detail left a mark on every project he undertook, earning him respect and admiration within the masonry community.
Beyond his work, Donato found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a passion for travel, eagerly exploring new destinations and experiencing different cultures. On the green fairways of golf courses, he found solace and camaraderie, while the open road on his motorcycle brought him a sense of freedom and adventure.
In his garden, Donato found tranquility, nurturing vibrant blooms and greenery with care and dedication. He also enjoyed the peacefulness of walking and riding his bike, taking in the beauty of nature with each step and pedal.
Above all, Donato was a devoted family man. He took immense pride in his children and grandchildren, always ready to lend a helping hand and offer unwavering support. Whether it was a home repair project or a listening ear, Donato was there for his loved ones whenever they needed him most.
In honor of Donato's memory, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, a cause close to his heart.
Donato Veri will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His legacy of hard work, kindness, and generosity will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
An in state will be held Saturday, March 23, at 10:00am at St Colette Catholic Church, 17600 Newburgh Rd., Livonia, MI 48152, followed by a funeral mass beginning at 11:00am.
Donato will be laid to rest in Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery.
