I am very thankful to you for being so open-hearted, open-minded and pure in everything you did. I loved that you were so welcoming. I met Donna a few years ago through an online game and our friendship grew from there. Donna and I got know each other fairly well by late night chats via face book, we'd laugh till we'd cry. I miss her a tremendously already. My prayers and sympathies go out to her family, Frank, Don and Clarice.

Donna entrusted her most valuable possession to me as Director of Gibson School. I observed her as a caring person, who wanted the best for her child. I have reconnected with Don on Facebook, and have developed much fondness for his loving family. I am proud to have the opportunity to express my condolences and my prayers for healing grief. Donna Marie made it her mission to reconnect with her 1st cousins so we could make up for the years that living so far apart kept us from making precious memories.  Donna was  planning to travel for the Lee family reunion in September and wanted all of her cousins to be there too. How like her to beat us to the greatest reunion of all, with our loved ones who have passed! I can almost see their smiling faces, and Donna's, as she runs, yes runs, into their loving arms.  Frank, Don, Stacey and Clarice....we love you and pray God grants you peace and comfort as we mourn the loss of our Donna Marie.....

Donna Marie, my forever best friend since kindergarten, is now one of God's angels. While here, she touched the lives of many with her loving and caring ways; her great sense of humor; her loving devotion to Frank, Don, Stacey and her pride and joy, Clarice; and her deep and total faith in God. Words cannot describe our feeling of loss, but I know that from up above, Donna will be watching over those who loved her. Smile as you think of Donna and send up a prayer of thanks for having had her in our lives. I pray that Frank, Don, Stacey and Clarice will find comfort and strength from God today and in the days to come.

Although Donna Marie was raised in Michigan and we (her Dad's side of the family) were raised in West Virginia .. there was a love in our hearts that bridged the miles.  Donna was all about family and friends .. and her furry kids!  She had a heart as big as the ocean and although we seldom got to see each other .. the connection and love was still there.  She loved her aunts and always wanted to come back and see them.  Donna Marie will be missed by many .. Frank, Donnie, Stacey and Clarice .. our thoughts and prayers are with you always.

Donna and I shared many memories from Amos and Neinas .. my prayers go out to her family .. she will be sadly missed by many ..

Donna Marie was the 1st cousin who lived so far away when we were growing up that we seldom saw each other but we were blessed to see Donna & Frank just a month ago when they came to SC on vacation. As the other entries attest, Donna was full of enthusiasm & love for others. She & Frank gave up an entire day at the beach to come to our home to visit our mother, her 84 yr. old Aunt Mary, shortly before Mom died on the 11th. She wrote to us on the 12th to express her condolences and to assure us that our mom was in heaven with her mother (Myrtle, who was Mom's sister) and with our oldest sister, Lynda, whom we lost unexpectledly in 2010. 
Today we try to comfort you Frank, Donny, Stacey & Clarice with words of hope and assurance. We love you and pray that God will comfort you now and in the days ahead,

My prayers go out to Donna's family.  I know how much she was loved by everyone.  Donna and I went to high school together, and we shared a "best friend", Joyce Ramsey.  God bless her soul, and prayers are for peace to surround all who loved her.

    Please accept my most sincere condolences. I too, remember Donna from Neinas and we became email and facebook friends as she had show dogs an we miniature show horses. She was a world of great information and we will miss that as we honor her memory and relish, what was.

Donna and I became friends when we attended Neinas Junior High School in Detroit.  Our other "best" friend was Joyce Ramsey (now Kandes).  We were inseparable. I remember when Donnie was born. I remember when Donna and Frank bought their first house. She was always happy, always smiling, always caring for someone else.  I was so very proud of her for getting her nursing degree. She loved Frank and Donnie more than anything in the world...until Clarice came along.  Donna had lots of love to give and anyone who knew her, knew that.  I spent many happy hours with all of them and will miss her more than anyone could possibly imagine.
