Edna Jean Duffy

Edna Jean Duffy was born March 20, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan to her parents; Stanley and Norma Laramie. Edna passed away on August 20, 2021 at the age of 91.Beloved wife of the late James Duffy. Loving mother of Paul (Linda) Duffy and Don (MaryGrace) Duffy. Cherished grandmother of Erica (Matthew) Voss, Amy Duffy, Patrick Duffy, Heather (Rob) Wilton and Matthew (Kelley) Duffy. Adored great grandmother of Thomas, Vera, Olivia and Hailey. Dear sister of the late Marvin (Elsie), late Wyman (Beulah), late Donald (Mildred), late Melvin (Jean), late Linda (Frances aka Smitty) and the late Laverne (Eleanor).

Edna was a long time member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Livonia with her husband James for over 20+ years. She was a phenomenal seamstress and made many of her own clothes and taught classes for sewing and tailoring. She enjoyed bowling and was on a couple's league with her husband and a woman's league with friends. Edna loved taking on the role as grandma and her house was always the grandkid's favorite place to be, she supported and attended all of her grandchildren's activities and just loved spending time with family.

Edna will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday August 25, 2021 from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at Harry J Will Funeral Home in Livonia. Funeral service at Holy Cross Lutheran Church 30650 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152 on Thursday August 26, 2021 at 10:30am (in state 10am). Edna will be laid to rest at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens.
