Eileen M. Donovan

Eileen May Donovan was born July 6, 1930 in Detroit Michigan to Joseph and Margaret Donovan. She loved knitting, crocheting and could frequently be found watching TV. She was a long time member of Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church.

Eileen is the loving sister of Patricia (Pat) McParlane and Joan DeRemo. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Margaret (Mark) Koehn, Susanne DeRemo, Kathleen (Jim) Ryan, Jim DeRemo and Patrick (Melissa) McParlane, and she is the great aunt to six.

Visitation for Eileen will be Wednesday November 16, 2011 from 3 pm 9 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 W. Six Mile in Livonia, Michigan 48152. During the visitation, a Rosary will be prayed in her memory at 6:30 pm. The funeral home is located on the north side of W. Six Mile, east of I-275 and Newburgh Road.

Eileen will lie in state Thursday November 17, 2011 from 10:15 am until her 11 am Mass at Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church, located at 17116 Olympia in Redford Twp., Michigan 48240. The church is located on the northeast corner of Six Mile and Beech Roads.

Eileen will be laid to rest with her family at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery in Southfield, Michigan.

Eileen's family asks that mass intentions be made or memorials to Our Lady of Loretto Church or Four Seasons Hospice.
