Elizabeth "Beth" Nichole Pelc

Livonia - Elizabeth (Beth) Pelc (nee Centers), age 41 of Livonia, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.

Beth was the Dear mother of her beloved daughter, Charlotte. She is also survived by her parents, Christine and Tom Centers; her loving brother TJ; grandparents Barbara Tousignant and Claud and Patricia Centers; as well as her many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Since the age of 10, all Beth dreamed about was becoming a teacher. She reached this dream in 2003 when she earned her bachelor's degree in education from Oakland University. Once she received her degree, she never looked back, teaching first at Bishop Borgess (2004-2005) and then at All Saints Catholic School until the birth of her daughter in 2011.

Although her teaching career was short, it was impactful. Her love of life gave her the ability to engage and inspire her students to not only love science, but how to figure out what was their life passion. It is these life lessons that her students remember the most, sharing and reaching out over the years to thank "Ms. Pelc" for their successes in life. She will be deeply missed.

A private family service will be held.
