Erica devoted her career—and her heart—to helping people in their most vulnerable moments. She spent her life caring for others as a dedicated and compassionate nurse, a career marked by kindness, loyalty, and a gentle spirit that touched countless lives.
Throughout her life, she faced significant struggles with the pain and weakness caused by Lyme disease, which had become especially severe over the past six months. During times when her illness was in remission, she embraced life fully—traveling, socializing, and sharing joyful moments with her husband, family, and many dear friends. Those who knew her will remember her for her warmth, generosity, and deep love.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, December 13, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 37000 Six Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48152. A memory sharing service will begin at 3:00 p.m.
An additional Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Chicago; further details will be announced after the holidays.
