George and Dolores were married in 1954 and together they raised three children in their Livonia, Michigan home. They enjoyed traveling, watching old movies and dancing. George loved to cook for Dolores and take her out to show her off as they went out on the town. They were a beautiful and fun-loving couple that passionately loved their family.
George and Dolores were the beloved parents of Dimitri George (his wife Constance) Halatsis, Val Louis Halatisis, and Jill (her husband Bryan) Halatsis-Winkel; Loving grandparents or "Papou & Bocia" of Mark (his wife Kristin) Swieczkowski, Jill (her husband Greg) Vaquera, Andrea (her husband Nick) Blair, Nick (his wife Malory) Halatisis and Brett Winkel.
George is survived by his sister Frieda (the late Pete) Sarri and his very special cousin George (Barbara) Tecos who was more like a brother to him.
The family will receive friends Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for a memorial gathering at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 37000 Six Mile, Livonia, Michigan 48152.
A memorial service to celebrate them being together "till the end of time" will begin promptly at 1PM, Saturday, August 25, 2018. The service will be led by Reverend Mark Raitz.
George and Dolores will be laid to rest together in Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia, Michigan. "Till the end of time"
