My thoughts & prayers are with George's family. He was very dedicated to his work and always had interesting stories to tell. He will be greatly missed.

RIP George Valrance. Your memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved you.

I was very sorry to learn about George passing away.George joined Mich Con  as a meter reader in 1954 He transfered to Field Service as service employee .In 1955.In 1968 he was promoted to staff assistant and later that year to supervisor.In 1974 George was promoted to General Supervisor.In 1980 he transfered to our investigation and claims department where he later became our chief investigator over the department.George was know state wide for his expertise as a fire and explosion claims investor.and worked closly with all the local officials.George retired in 2001 but stayed on as a consultant for many years after his retirement.George was a good friend and a loyal employee for Mich Con.My condolances to Sue Bryan and the family Bob Sirkle

I am very sorry for your loss.  Please accept my condolences.  Mr. Valrance has touched many Lives.  He had a passion for Living and helping others.  May all the beautiful memories you have of George help with through you process of grieving. He will always be missed and thought about, but his Love for others will help to heal the pain. I knew George for over 30 years and always respected his judgement and willingness to convey facts as he saw them.  I used to talk to him almost every weekday about gas incidents. I have great respect for him, honored to get to know him and enjoyed his friendship.  Please convey my heartfelt condolences to your family.

We met at a multiple.....you introduced yourself as "the gas man".   That was in feb. 1968.  We became friends    I attended box 42 meetings at porter street station with Main , Kobylars, Jasina......etc. Etc.  You followed me to E-53/L 25/S-7 and on and on....you were a great friend to the DFD and will be missed by many a veteran......rest in peace

Our thoughts and prayers are with Sue and the entire family in the loss of a wonderful man.  May your many happy memories sustain you in the days ahead and may God give you His peace.  I will miss George commenting on my Canadian "eh" each time I saw him and his friendly welcome at musters and events.  We have lost a true friend.
